Barium Bay, with its 1,110 MW, is the largest floating offshore wind farm to obtain Environmental Impact Assessment decree in Italy

Zurich/Milan/Bari, May 21, 2025. Barium Bay has obtained its positive Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) decree from the Ministry of the Environment and Energy Security. The project, located along the stretch of Adriatic Sea between the cities of Bari and Barletta, in the Apulia Region, South of Italy, was developed by Galileo and Hope Group.
