Ingmar was responsible for investment, business development, trading, sales and corporate strategy in a variety of senior roles with two large European utilities and an international private equity investor. Over the last 15 years, Ingmar has been concentrating on the development, implementation, operations as well as sale of renewable energy projects in over 20 countries.

Katy has over 20 years of experience in the renewable energy sector, particularly onshore and offshore wind. Her expertise spans legal, corporate finance, project management, international business development and general management.

Paolo has over 30 years of experience in the energy sector with Italian, Swiss and German utilities, concentrating on general management in power sales, energy trading, and wind development and operations.

Laura is a qualified lawyer with over 20 years experience of corporate law and M&A in the energy and infrastructure sector with leading law firms Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer, DLA Piper and Linklaters.

Nikolaus Mainka Chief Financial Officer

Nik has over 16 years of experience in acquiring, structuring, and financing early to late-stage renewable energy portfolios across Europe and the US and building up corporate structures and controls for development and IPP platforms.

Eduardo Gonzalez-Sola Business Development & Power Origination Director

Eduardo has over 25 years of experience in the international renewable industry, both in business development & commercial origination management, helping large energy consumers to switch to green energy supply through PPAs.

Simona Ferri HR Director

Simona has over 20 years experience in human resources, with a focus on international talent spanning from Spain to Germany to China, both at corporate level and as a freelancer. She is a certified coach.

Francesco has over 10 years of experience in the international energy industry, focusing on origination, development and investment activities. He is currently responsible for Galileo’s business development efforts in Italy and Germany.

Vimal Vallabh Chairman of the Board

Vimal Vallabh has served as a board member since the inception of Galileo in 2020 and has been chair since March 2023. Vimal is a Partner and Global Head of Energy at Morrison where he leads the establishment and management of Morrison’s renewable energy platforms and acquisition of power and renewable energy assets. Prior to joining Morrison in 2013 Vimal had extensive experience in renewables and power and previously held roles as an originator and investor in private equity, industry and investment banking in Europe, the US, New Zealand and Australia. Vimal is also Chairman of Gurīn Energy based in Singapore.

Rajiv Khakhar joined the board in March 2023. Rajiv is a senior member of the Morrison investment team based in Singapore. He joined Morrison in 2018 and has a focus on global energy and renewables. Previously Rajiv was a corporate finance manager at Cubico Sustainable Investments in London and a manager in KPMG’s Corporate Finance team in Sydney, Australia. Rajiv has worked across the transport, renewable energy, energy infrastructure, oil and gas, water and social infrastructure sectors.

Mark McArdle joined the board in February 2025. He is a senior member of the Morrison investment team and is based in London. Mark joined Morrison in 2020 and has a focus on energy, utilities and renewables and new investments. Previously Mark worked at QIC and RBC Capital Markets in London and Sydney, Australia. Mark has experience across the utilities, energy, renewables and social infrastructure sectors.

David Rae Member of the Board

David has been a board member of Galileo since inception in 2020. He owns an investment consulting business and has a range of governance roles related to the finance, investment, energy, private equity and pilot training industries. He was a founding director of Longroad Energy LLC, a US based renewable energy developer, and has advised on a number of renewable energy projects in New Zealand. Previously he has been Head of Investment Analysis at the New Zealand Superannuation Fund and has worked as an economist at the Organisation for Economic Cooperation and Development in Paris.

Eddy has been a board member of Galileo since its inception in 2020.  He has a wealth of experience in the energy and services sectors in Europe, U.K. and US. He spent over 15 years with Centrica in a number of roles, including as President of Services in the US and Canada and CEO of Centrica Ireland.  As a director of British Gas, Eddy was instrumental in repositioning BG/Centrica as the lowest carbon supplier of energy in the UK market.  He sits on the board of Authority Brands, a leading home services franchisor in the US and is active in advisory work with PE investors.
