In this report the European wind energy association “Wind Europe” highlights the current strengths of the wind sector and also its enormous growth potential across Europe. With 300,000 jobs and €60bn annual turnover in the wind manufacturing sector in Europe today there is a very powerful industrial base to accompany the rise of wind energy from today’s 200GW of installed capacity to around 400GW in the year 2030, and thereby contribute to long-lasting economic recovery in a very sustainable way.
